Justice Studies Overview
Justice is a very large subject in Scripture, (Short list) and most often, people think of Justice as a negative experience where punishment is the outcome for all who get Justice. A closer look at Scripture reveals that Justice has a positive purpose that can prevent much hurt, injury, division and broken relationships in the Church. The first objective of God's Justice system is to provide a methodology to promote reconciliation of relationships in an environment of righteousness. There is a punishment element to Justice, but that is for those who have failed to follow the steps God has laid out for settling conflicts and repairing injuries, or those who are disobedient to the Holy One.
Our purpose in these Justice studies is to help find solutions to current disputes which might cause division and heart break if unresolved, and to offer methodologies for restoring broken relationships. We begin with a view to personal, one on one, relationships, but desire to help solve local church divisions as well.
